Glitchbound III ~At the Gates of Creation

hibikemits punchy basslines and saccharine lead synths supported by metal/prog rock-influenced percussive rhythms make "at the gates of creation" a sonically rich album boasting eclectic sounds and meticulously layered progressions. the influential sounds of a bygone era run deep here as formative references for a bulk of the tracks but what makes this album so promising is noticing the way it expresses a firm desire to innovate within the foundation it's built upon!

ps. i love the sidechaining! Favorite track: Moon Princess.

about

(Buy on Bandcamp for access to bonus tracks separating the suites into their respective movements, as well as variant covers for the two long suites and access to all cover art in full resolution.)

After a long wait and much hard work, the time has finally come to release Glitchbound III to the world!

This is a release that's very near and dear to my heart. Its ideas are the most complex, and I'd say the most well developed, out of any of my work heretofore. It's layered, weird, full of references and influences and inspirations from masters of the craft both past and present; some tracks are long and experimental, others short and (hopefully sweet). It's a microcosm, I feel - of my sound, of what it's built up to be. It feels like a self-encounter, a self-discovery. Like it's what I've been meaning to make all this time, given form. Like... Glitchbound. And that makes me happy beyond belief.

So, listener, have a good time! Sit back and enjoy Glitchbound III. I hope you find something to your taste throughout its unprecedented (for me) length - be it in the epic suites (the last of which is my personal favorite from the album) or in the shorter pieces (some of which are in my favorites as well). Once again, thank you for your support!
